Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Examination is conducted for recruitment to posts such as  Assam Land and Revenue Service (Junior Grade),  Assam Civil Service (Junior Grade), Labour Inspector, Superintendent of Excise, Inspector of Taxes, Inspector of Excise and various other posts

APSC Preliminary Examination Pattern

  • Paper I: General Studies 1
  • Paper II: General Studies 2
  • Duration: 2 Hours Each
  • Total Marks: 400 Marks

APSC Mains Examination Pattern

  • Paper I: Essay- 250 Marks
  • Paper II to VI: General Studies- 250 Marks for each paper
  • Paper VII: Optional Paper 1- 250 Marks
  • Paper VIII: Optional Paper 2- 250 Marks
  • Duration: 3 hours for each paper
  • Interview Test: 275 Marks
